Yamaketakafuji 3
Fujiyoshi · exported 1998 · Westholme
Yamaketakafuji 3 is one of the named Westholme foundation dams, from Chris Walker's importation of about 84 black females out of ET Japan Company in Hokkaido across 1997-1998. Her 'Fuji' name element tentatively links her to the roughly 44 Fujiyoshi (Shimane) females that made up the largest strain group of the consignment, complementing the 28 Kedaka (eleven Hongen-registered) and 12 Tajiri females and the bulls Hirashige-Tayasu, Itomoritaka and Kitateruyasu Doi. She is documented among the dams that bred on in Australia and helped found the herd now run as Westholme by the Australian Agricultural Company. Her individual pedigree is not published.
