Sekiyuhou

cow

Kedaka · exported 1998 · Westholme

Sekiyuhou is one of the named foundation dams of Chris Walker's Westholme importation of roughly 84 black females out of ET Japan Company in Hokkaido during 1997-1998. Her 'Seki' element tentatively places her among the 28 Kedaka females (eleven Hongen-registered) prized for milk and frame, in a consignment that also carried 44 Fujiyoshi and 12 Tajiri and the bulls Hirashige-Tayasu, Itomoritaka and Kitateruyasu Doi. She is documented among the dams that bred on in Australia, contributing to the genetic base of the modern Westholme/AACo herd. Her individual pedigree is not published in the accessible sources.
