Kitatizuru 2

cow

Kedaka · exported 1998 · Westholme

Kitatizuru 2 (also transliterated Kitachizuru) is one of the named Westholme foundation dams from Chris Walker's importation of roughly 84 black females out of ET Japan Company in Hokkaido during 1997-1998. Her 'Kita' element tentatively places her among the 28 Kedaka females (eleven Hongen-registered) that gave the Westholme consignment its milk-and-size character, complementing the 44 Fujiyoshi and 12 Tajiri and the founding bulls Hirashige-Tayasu, Itomoritaka and Kitateruyasu Doi. She bred on in Australia and helped establish the herd now operated as Westholme by the Australian Agricultural Company. Her detailed pedigree is not published in the accessible sources.
