Kensei
Mixed · exported 1997 · Sumo Wagyu
Kensei is the foundation dam of one of the six Takeda Farm cow families that Sumo Wagyu (Simon Coates) imported to Australia as embryos from Shogo Takeda's renowned Hokkaido herd. Sumo Wagyu names Kensei explicitly as one of its founding Takeda cow families, whose descendants became some of the most elite and prized progeny of the Australian Wagyu herd. Because she came in as embryos rather than a live import, her exact birth data, registration, sire, dam and strain are not published in the accessible sources. She is included as a documented Takeda foundation dam contributing to the genetic base of the Sumo/Australian Wagyu herd.
