Hitomi 244

Hitomi 244 was an additional red Akaushi foundation female purchased from Takeda in Japan as part of the mid-1990s HeartBrand importation, alongside Himawari 245. Like the other foundation Akaushi dams, she originates from the Japanese Red population centered in Kumamoto Prefecture. Her detailed pedigree is not documented in the public sources reviewed. She is included as a verifiable named red foundation female that broadened the imported Akaushi maternal base outside Japan.
