Hisako

Hisako was one of the seven black foundation females in the Mannett Group's 1997 import from Japan, arriving with the bull Yasufuku Jr in the last World K's consignment before live exports ceased. With Taguchi 9, Nakahana 5, Mitsutaka, Okuito 9, Hanateru 9 and Rabito, she rounded out the final infusion of Japan-exported female genetics into the North American fullblood herd. Her pedigree is not documented in the sources reviewed. She is included as a verifiable named foundation female of the 1997 import.
