Dai 8 Marunami

Dai 8 Marunami was one of the nine red Akaushi foundation females imported from Kumamoto Prefecture in 1994 by Dr. Al and Marie Wood, and is specifically listed among the seven females that became the HeartBrand Ranch nucleus in Harwood, Texas. Her 'Dai 8' prefix follows Japanese Akaushi naming, and the Marunami family is a recognized Akaushi cow line. Detailed pedigree data for her was not found in the public sources reviewed.
