Chisahime 662

Chisahime 662 was one of the group of black foundation females imported from Japan by Japanese Venture Partners (JVP) in 1994 — the same consignment that brought the influential Tajima bulls Fukutsuru 068, Kikuyasu-400 and Yasutanisakura. JVP's import added an important block of maternal genetics to the young North American fullblood herd alongside the Mannett and Takeda groups.
