Yasufuku Jr
Tajima · exported 1997 · 908 AU progeny
Yasufuku Jr (FB4697), born 2 September 1997, is a 100% Tajima Fullblood Black bull and one of the most valuable marbling sires ever exported. He was brought out as a bull calf by the Mannett Group (Mannet Company) in the venture's final 1997 shipment, arriving with seven black heifers. He is the only son of the legendary Yasufuku J930 available as a sire outside Japan, with maternal grandsire Monjiro 11550 and the great Yasumi Doi J10328 appearing three times in his pedigree, a concentration of the finest Tajima marbling blood. His performance record is exceptional: in the 2017 LMCC Sire Performance Study he ranked #1 for intramuscular fat both as a sire (33.34% IMF) and as a dam sire (34.11% IMF), and in large trials roughly 1,200 F1 calves fed 540 days reached ~1.94 lb ADG with 78% grading 9+ on the Australian scale. He carries CL16. With about 908 registrations in Australia, Yasufuku Jr is a cornerstone marbling sire whose blood commands premium demand across the global Wagyu industry.
