Mitsuhikokura
Fujiyoshi (Shimane)
Mitsuhikokura (registered by some sources as TF149, FB3683) is a Fullblood Black bull from Shogo Takeda's exports and is described as one of the highest-percentage Shimane bloodline sires Takeda sent abroad. He sits in the Fujiyoshi group, the Okayama/Shimane maternal line, and is reported to carry the Fujiyoshi sire Dai 14 Shigeru along with marbling genetics from the Tanshige and Kumanami strains of Tajima, a blend aimed at combining carcass quality with strong maternal performance. Breeders favour him for growth, milk production and a thick, well-muscled build, and especially for producing outstanding breeding females with exceptional milking ability, which is why he is used to build cow herds rather than purely as a terminal marbling sire. His pedigree is cited in connection with elite lines such as Yasufuku J930 and World K's Takazakura. As a high-Shimane outcross to the more common Tajima-heavy genetics abroad, Mitsuhikokura helped diversify and strengthen the maternal base of Fullblood Wagyu herds in North America and Australia.
